About Existo
My name is Yulia, and I am a multidisciplinary artist. For me, Existo is not simply a name, but a gesture of presence. It is a way of saying “I am” in moments when familiar forms begin to shift, and the inner world moves through doubt, transition, and transformation.
I work with liminal states, where the human being is perceived not as something fixed, but as a living, changing structure. My projects explore uncertainty, duality, and inner fluidity — through which a deeper experience of the self becomes possible.
About art
I work at the intersection of mixed media, photography, video art, and the visual essay. I am drawn to states in which perception loses its stability: where the boundaries between inner and outer, body and image, visible and hidden begin to blur. Through fragmentation, layering, and the tension between opposites, I explore how a new sense of presence can emerge.
My artistic practice explores the fluid nature of perception, identity, and liminal states. Through visual spaces and images, I create the possibility of encountering uncertainty not as loss, but as part of inner experience — and, through this, of moving toward a more whole sense of self.

Old beliefs erode like the outlines of objects under water. We are constantly changing, adapting and finding new ways of being ourselves. This is our strength and our freedom.
