Shifting

Shifting is a video work about time as a state in which everyday life loses its clarity and the world opens up again.

I turn to liminal spaces — corridors, staircases, bridges, and water — as zones where time begins to tremble, linger, fold, and flicker. The slow movement of the camera within these spaces makes silence tangible, shifting the gaze from observation into presence. Vertical blur becomes a sign of time slipping out of its familiar form — an entry into emptiness, where nothing turns into an event.

Emptiness appears as a fertile space where the image emerges from absence and silence is full of potential. I seek to capture the moment when space and inner state coincide, and time becomes visible as a form of opening.
