Evolving
Evolving — a project about becoming as a mode of being, where identity remains in motion and is continually reframed through displacement. I’m drawn to the moments when familiar self-images lose their footing and open up room for transformation. Change here is not a rupture but an interior movement that keeps form alive.
The work unfolds in a space where time feels nonlinear, experienced as a sequence of states. Seasonality becomes a rhythm of change: endless winter as a state of waiting, spring as the impulse of revival and renewed motion. A blue spectrum, from near-black to ultramarine, shapes an atmosphere that holds depth, quiet, and the tension of transition.
For me, metamorphosis does not occur instantaneously. It emerges in the in-between — in layers, in the fragile interval between clarity and displacement. Evolving records not an outcome but a process in which form, time, and perception remain in motion.
